MFTeasers, Day 4

Today the team is sharing samples of Inspired by Spring and Claire Keay Hello Sunshine.

For my card using Inspired by Spring, I returned to Julia’s Picket Fence papers by Lily Bee Design.  On my last card using this text paper, I incorporated the beautiful purple flowers into my design (seen here).  Today, I took a really deep breath, cut the purple flowers from the paper and stamped my own sprig of pretty flowers.  (Totally inspired by Julia’s paper and Jody’s comment about my last card that this stamp would work beautifully using the same idea.)

I stamped the flowers using VersaMagic Jumbo Java ink.  Once the ink had dried, I dotted in the light blue color using a B000 Copic.   I tied the ribbon, zapped it with the heat gun for some quick crinkling and inserted two pretty pins from K & Company’s Brenda Walton Flora & Fauna collection.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment and a second sprig of flowers.
