Live Like There’s No Tomorrow

I stamped my girl onto cream cardstock, colored the image and then paper-pieced the dress.  The flowers were die-cut using MFT’s Pretty Posies Die–namics and the pleated ribbon was a gift from my good friend, Jody.

When adhering the dress, I did not apply adhesive to the bottom edge so that I could bend it up slightly, adding just a bit of dimension.

On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from Clearly Sentimental about Birthdays  and the girl, minus the floor line and surrounding box. I also used along the bottom MFT’s Simply Scallops Die-namics border.

Your next stop along the hop is with sweet KERRY!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy hopping!  🙂

Hi everyone!   The My Favorite Things team is back today previewing the second new à la modes set, Grad Girl.

So Proud of You!

I think this is a set I’ll be using often.  🙂

I colored with Copics and drew in the floor line with a marker and straight edge.

I used two sentiments on the inside, highlighting “So” with a light blue/green marker.

Along some of the sides (on the front and inside), I tucked die-cut strips of MFT’s Dainty Dots Border Die-namics.

You can find direct links to more previews using this set HERE on Kim’s blog.

We’ll be back tonight for our Who’s That Girl VIP hop when the WTG and two new à la modes sets will be available!  Hope to see you then!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!
