Hi everyone! Today the My Favorite Things team is previewing Sunbathing Flopsey and Inspired by Flowers Set 2.

It’s been a while since I’ve created a flowery card, and even longer since I’ve created a scrappy flowery card. I always have a hard time placing things at angles, but I don’t really know how to do anything “scrappy” without it being crooked… and distressed. 🙂
I stamped the flower onto patterned paper and then added bits of color with Copics. The sentiment was adhered on the left using one of the pins and a foam booster secures it on the right.
On the inside, I used part of a sentiment from Clearly Sentimental about Birthdays. I also stamped the rose onto the grid paper using Desert Sand ink. I wanted it light enough so that a message could be written over top of it.
