MFT June Hop & Shop – Well Done

Welcome to this month’s Hop & Shop with My Favorite Things!  If you’d like to start at the beginning, you can do that here with Kim.

Well Done

I love Fred Bear Well Done.  🙂  I didn’t use my favorite sentiment from the set, but I will soon!

I colored Fred with Copics, added ground with pencils and once again used one of the ribbon dies from our new First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics for the sentiment.

I did something a little different on the inside of my card.  I used a sentiment from Fred Bear Graduates and the outstretched bear is from Fred Bear Has a Birthday.  I omitted the party hat when inking the stamp, scribbled in the top of his head, and then in Fred’s hand I stamped the hat from Fred Bear Well Done.

You can find all of our new releases HERE,  but first I hope you’ll continue on with BARBARA.  I’m sure she has something stunning to share!

Thanks for stopping by!  Happy hopping!  🙂

MFT June Teasers…the last one

Hello.  🙂  Welcome to the very last day of previews of My Favorite Things’ June release.   Today the team is sharing samples of Who’s That Girl Enjoy the Ride, Who’s That Guy I Love You Mower (lol) and Clearly Sentimental about the Journey.

You’re a Cut Above

I’ve used our new Who’s That Guy I Love You Mower.   Every time I hear this set name, I think “I Love You More” and then I also wonder if the guy is thinking “I love you, Mower.”  You  know, some guys are really attached to their toys.  (Not that I would consider a lawn mower a toy…but I guess some men would, if it was nice enough.  I don’t think this one should qualify though.  It would have to be a riding mower to hear terms of endearment.  Then maybe that’s just me.  But I digress…)

I colored my guy with Copics, adding in little stripes on the sleeves with a black marker.

Along the bottom I used MFT’s Fresh Cut Grass and new Open Bracket Border Die-namics.

To cut the flag end shape on the sentiment strip, I used the smaller ribbon piece from our new First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics.

On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from the set and again used the  Open Bracket Border.

The release will take place tonight, June 7th, at 10 p.m. EST.  You can attend the release party from 8 – 10 p.m. EST here in the forum for fun, games, prizes and the announcement of our next Guest Designer.  The winners from today’s teaser comments will be announced during the party as well.

I’ll be back tonight at 10 p.m. EST for the My Favorite Things June release Hop & Shop.  I’ll see you then!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
