What’s Poppin’?

Hi everyone!  I’m back today with another sketch from My Favorite Things.  I like this layout, but I’m not so sure I like my card.  (It happens.)  🙂

What’s Poppin’?

This week I used one of our new Pure Innocence images, Popping By.   She’s colored with markers, and I pieced her outfit.  (It was a bit tricky stamping and cutting along black lines on black paper.)

I stamped the drink and popcorn box a second time, colored, cut out and popped up over the image on half pieces of foam boosters.

On the inside I stamped a silhouette of the girl and added a tiny sentiment from Something Special Just for You, another Pure Innocence set.

Along the bottom I used MFT’s Simply Scallops Border.  On the front I again (and again) used one of the ribbons from First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics.  (I’ll likely use those two ribbon pieces far more often than the bigger pieces of the set.)

You can find direct links to DT samples HERE on the MFT blog.  The info is also posted in the MFT Forum in SCS.  (Look for the most recent WSC thread numbered 23.)   And remember, if you upload your card to the SCS gallery using the keyword shown on the sketch, you will have the chance to win up to $20 in MFT money!  One winner is chosen at random each week.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!  🙂
