Make a Splash

Hi everyone!  It’s only been a few days since I last posted but with everything that’s been going on here, it feels like it’s been months.  The end of year picnics are over, teacher gifts have been given, desks have been emptied (contents now all over my kitchen) and goodbyes have been said.  I’m now the proud parent of fourth and sixth graders.  We had the Fifth Grade Promotion ceremony to middle school the other night.  I thought I’d be fine with it.  I was wrong.  It was hard.  Bittersweet for sure.  Time just goes by so quickly.  Anyway (*deep breath*) … we move on!  🙂

This week the Kraftin Kimmie team has been challenged by sweet Diana to make cards for kids.

Make a Splash! (Put on your sunglasses.)

This week I decided to put the ink to Little Summer Boy by Cheryl Alger.  So cute.  The bright papers are from Fancy Pants’ “To the Moon” collection.  I love that they too are now making 6×6 paper pads.

I colored with markers, added a die-cut sun and button and a few brightly colored brads along the sentiment.

To see more cards for kids, hop on over to the Krafty Blog HERE.  If you’d like to play along, be sure to link your creation there on the Krafty Blog. (Not here.)  You could win FOUR Steven Leary images of your choice PLUS Dancing Dylan (as used by Diana).

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!  🙂
