Hello. 🙂 It’s another one of those bittersweet days for me. Although I can’t share the day with my own dad, I can revisit some of the very best of memories. I can call my father-in-law on the phone, I can call my mom’s SO sweet husband, and I can share the day with my children and their dad. I’m so very fortunate to have (and to have had) such fabulous fathers in my life. 🙂
Here’s the card my kids will give to my husband. (Bonus points for using Illini colors! Hee, hee.)
Best Dad Ever
As I mentioned before, I struggle a bit (ok…a lot) with non-images when stamping. So this card was hugely influenced by my friend, Jody. (She rocks everything.)
To create my ribbon, I used My Favorite Things’ new First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics and stamp set combo. I also used a lot of Jody’s foam boosters.
On the inside, I stamped a star and #1 from the set.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I’ll be back tomorrow with the first of this month’s new à la modes!
Hug your daddy, if you can!
