I love The Cat’s Pajamas bunny. Have you seen the sneak peeks of their upcoming release? I have a little wish list developing. (The grass and hot air balloon are both at the top of my list.)
Last month I needed a card for my nephew’s birthday. Teen boys are the hardest to design for, I think. Even harder than men. And I don’t have many stamps that I feel fit a teen boy. Hopefully my nephew wasn’t too embarassed by the bunny.
Go Forth & Eat Cake
On the front of my card I used Forget About the Cake, colored with markers and pencils. Along the bottom I placed a string of stars die-cut using My Favorite Things’ Star Border Die-namics.
For a bit of dimension and added “pizazz” (hee, hee), I added several Amuse Creative Candy stars.
CREATIVE TIP: If you don’t have a specific color of crystal you need for your design, choose any light colored crystal and color it with a Copic. My light pink stars quickly and easily became orange using YR04 .
On the inside, I used a second TCP bunny and sentiment from their Birthday Bunny set and another strip of the star border.
I’ll be back on Thursday with a little something and then on Friday, previews begin of My Favorite Things’ July release! (I can’t BELIEVE how fast time is going by! Sheesh.)
Thanks so much for visiting! Have a great day!
