Time to Get Together

Hi everyone.  :)  The last couple weeks I’ve been too busy to fit in the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club sketch.  I’m still swamped (preparing for classes, vacation, CHA…swimming) but managed to fit one in this week.

Time to Get Together

For this sketch, I used Take Time from the à la modes collection.

I will be honest and admit that when I first saw this layout, I literally gasped… crooked panels, different sized buttons, all scrappy-ish.  lol.  But in the end, I like it.  :)

I used MFT’s new File Tab Die-namics in the upper corner and Pretty Posies to create my flower in the lower corner.

I used Copics to color my image, adding a few wisps of gray to (hopefully) help the clock look as though it’s covered with glass.

I used scraps of the patterned paper on the inside of my card, stamped the girl again and used a second sentiment from the set.

You can find direct links to DT samples HERE on the MFT blog.  The info is also posted in the MFT Forum in SCS.  (Look for the most recent WSC thread numbered 28.)   And remember, if you upload your card to the SCS gallery using the keyword shown on the sketch, you will have the chance to win up to $20 in MFT money!  One winner is chosen at random each week.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!
