Getting Sketchy with MFT

It’s Wednesday so that means it’s Sketch Day with My Favorite Things!

Hi

For this week’s card, I used another image I colored (and paper-pieced) while at CHA.  (These colored images are certainly coming in handy.)  This is Lily of the Valley from MFT’s Pure Innocence line.

I used Copics to color my image and a scrap of the gingham paper to piece the dress.  (I always save the scraps of the smaller prints.)  The flower was die-cut using Pretty Posies Die-namics, and along the bottom I added a strip of Simply Scallops Die-namics.
Due to the empty space beneath the flowers, I flopped my die-cut from the sketch onto the right side of the image instead of the left, but the layout is the same.

A silhouette of the image and a partial sentiment from the set finish the inside quickly and easily.

You can find direct links to DT samples HERE on the MFT blog.  The info is also posted in the MFT Forum in SCS.  (Look for the most recent WSC thread numbered 32.)   And remember, if you upload your card to the SCS gallery using the keyword shown on the sketch, you will have the chance to win up to $20 in MFT money!  One winner is chosen at random each week.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!
