If Friends Were Flowers…

Hi everyone.  🙂  I’ve been crazy busy here (still) and meant to post this over the weekend.  But it didn’t happen.  We had family visiting from out of town Saturday night, then Sunday we met them downtown for dinner and a nighttime trolley tour.  Lots of fun!

If Friends Were Flowers, I’d Pick You…

For my card today, I’ve used Fred Bear Oopsie Daisy from My Favorite Things.  (Can you guess when I colored this?  Yep, CHA.  I’m so glad I saved everything I demo’d there.  Those images have really come in handy.  I think I still have one more …)

Anyway, I’ve also used this week’s CPS sketch, sponsored by MFT.

Along the left edge, I used a die-cut strip of Simply Scallops Die-namics and the two flowers were cut using Upsy Daisy Die-namics.

I colored Fred using several browns as well as a bit of yellow.  And I made his cheeks a little pink…because he’s shy.  🙂

On the inside, I completed the sentiment and added some scribbled grass and a trail for the butterfly (using a Copic multiliner).

I’ll be back tomorrow night at 10 p.m. EST for MFT’s WTG VIP hop.  I hope to see you then!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!  Have a great day!
