Hi everyone. I hadn’t yet had a chance to play with Pretty Pocket by My Favorite Things, but today was the day. Once I started, I just kept going…
Sweet Friend
First I created the bag. I used a base of MFT’s Hot Fudge cardstock, pairing it with a couple patterns from Jillibean Soup’s Chilled Strawberry Soup collection.
I wanted to be able to tuck a couple of gift cards into the pocket so I adhered it to the bag using foam tape (applied along the sides and bottom of the pocket back). The flower is popped up on a foam booster, and I used Copic’s Opaque White and the tip of a toothpick to add the white dots in the flower centers.
The card was created the same way as the bag. (No difference really.)
On the inside I used the oval from MFT’s Layered Label Die, the base from Sweet Stack Labels and a sentiment from Tag, You’re It Die-namics and Stamp Set. (I suppose the inside could just about be the outside of another card.)
Since I had some of that fun “Vanilla Soy Milk” floral paper left, I decided to (quickly) alter a little notebook to go along with the set.
I used the same dies and stamp set as mentioned above. Using the “No Peeking” sentiment, I thought the recipient could use the notebook for Christmas/gift lists, design ideas or as a little journal.
Now…who to give this to…hmmm… 🙂
