You’re An Inspiration

Hi everyone!  If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, it’s Virtual Stamp Night Weekend over at Splitcoast Stampers.   I participated in VSN long ago…when I had bigger blocks of quiet time.  If you’ve never played along, it’s a LOT of fun.  You can check out the details HERE.

My sweet friend, Lori, asked if I could make a sample and, of course, I said yes.  🙂

You’re An Inspiration

Lori and Jenn’s challenge is to “Put Your Brand on That.”  We’re to use kraft cardstock in some way and then add our own brand of something that we love and use often.

I chose one of my favorite stamp lines (My Favorite Things’ Pure Innocence), my favorite line of patterned paper (My Mind’s Eye), stitching (one of my favorite things to add to my creations) and I used my favorite coloring medium  (Copics).

Once colored, I cut out my girl and adhered her over the flourish using foam boosters.  (In all honesty, I cut her out because I dropped a marker very close to the image and couldn’t fix it.)

If you’d like to play along with Lori and Jenn’s challenge, you can check out the details HERE.  When uploading to the SCS gallery, don’t forget to add the keyword specific to THIS challenge:  AUG11VSNF.   I believe you have 45 minutes to create your project and all entries must be uploaded by Monday.  (Check out the details for more specifics!)

Thanks for visiting!  Have a great day!

Let’s Brew Up Some Fun

It’s the weekend! Although around here most plans have been cancelled or postponed due to the impending hurricane, we’re making the best of it. We’re not in the “direct” path, but my thoughts go out to those of you who are. Stay safe!
This week I am your hostess for Kraftin Kimmie’s weekly challenge. Today we have a sketch. 🙂
Let’s Brew Up Some Fun!

This week I’ve used KK’s new Potion Master along with one of her accompanying sentiments.

Kind of creepy and cute at the same time, right?

You can find the sketch HEREIf you’d like to play along, be sure to post a link to your creation there on the Krafty Blog for your chance to win a free Potion Master!
