Kraftin Kimmie Stamps, Challenge 100!

It’s time to celebrate with Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps!  Today is our 100th Challenge, AND it’s our birthday!  This month KKStamps turns TWO, and we’re doing something special to mark the occasion!

Have you ever wanted to be a Krafty Girl?? Here’s your chance!  Our challenge this week is to use your favorite KKStamp! That’s it…nothing fancy.  Just make a card or project featuring one of your favorite KKStamps and share it on the KKStamps blog. Link it with the little blue froggie and leave a message in the comment section telling us you’re applying to be our next Guest Designer.  The winner will receive a package of new release stamps and join us for the challenges and krafty peeks for the month of December! You have until October 31st to apply.  (You can still play along with the challenge if you’re not applying to be a Krafty Girl and we’ll still have our regular weekly winner.)

Drucilla has to be my absolute favorite of KKS images.  I just love her.  Although my daughter thinks Drucilla is really cute, she says the “needles” “freak her out.”   I kind of like them.   

For the pinheads, I inserted tiny brads.  I didn’t like all the white space around Drucilla so I dotted in some lines with a brown marker and sponged some VersaMagic Wheat ink.  I also left a lot of the little straggly strings on the trim for a somewhat scrappy feel.  (You could WIN Drucilla…and more…if you enter my give-away HERE!)
