Getting Sketchy…and Spacey…with MFT

Three more days to sign up for my give-away (two ways to win)…HERE!

It’s time for a sketch with My Favorite Things!   This week I pulled out another of my uninked Pure Innocence sets, Astronaut Girl (which I think could also work for a boy).

I paired my little astronaut with Cosmo Cricket’s Rocket Age paper.  Perfect!

If you look closely, you’ll see that I placed a clear pebble sticker over the helmet.  It’s just a wee bit smaller than the helmet but I think it works perfectly.  As long as I didn’t have to mess with clear glue, I was happy.  :)

You may also notice that I have a new obsession with Tim Holtz’s mini stapler. I LOVE that thing.  I just need to keep it away from my daughter… the staples are not cheap.

On the inside I stamped another sentiment, part of a silhouette and added a few more staples.

You can find direct links to DT samples HERE on the MFT blog.  The info is also posted in the MFT Forum in SCS.  (Look for the most recent WSC thread numbered 42.)   And remember, if you upload your card to the SCS gallery using the keyword shown on the sketch, you will have the chance to win up to $20 in MFT money!  One winner is chosen at random each week.

Thanks for visiting!  Have a great day!
