I Haven’t Been Ignoring You…

It’s Day 2 of November previews with My Favorite Things!   Today we’re sharing samples using Inspired by Christmas and Fred Bear Catches Some Zzz’s.

As you can see, I’ve used Fred Bear.  Isn’t he cute “hibernating” beneath the bare tree?  The tree was die-cut from cream cardstock using MFT’s Sheltering Tree Die-namics.  After cutting, I simply rubbed Rich Cocoa Memento ink over (direct pad to paper), leaving the embossed bark lines to clearly show through.

I thought it would be cute to piece Fred’s pillow.  I also wanted to use lots of small prints and stitching to create a cozy feel.  Lily Bee Design’s new Harvest Market patterns were perfect.  🙂

On the inside, I continued the cute sentiment and stamped a partial silhouette of Fred.
