Holiday Hugs

It’s time for another sketch with My Favorite Things!   This week I’ve used Holiday Hugs Snowman from the Pure Innocence line.

You all know how I feel about tilted panels, and although I’ve come to tilt on my own a time or two (*snicker*), this one gave me a fit.

It just looks wrong to me, like that center panel is falling off the card.  Soooo… since the intention of a sketch is to INSPIRE, this one inspired me to straighten the panel.

Much better.  It’s still not one of my favorites of my cards, but definately better.

I colored with Copics, then added little drops of “snow” using a clear Sakura 3-d gel pen.  The sentiment tab was die-cut using MFT’s File Tab Die-namics and the icicles were cut from My Favorite Puff Cloud White felt using Icicle Border Die-namics.

You can find direct links to DT samples HERE on the MFT blog.  The info is also posted in the MFT Forum in SCS.  (Look for the most recent WSC thread numbered 46.)   And remember, if you upload your card to the SCS gallery using the keyword shown on the sketch, you will have the chance to win up to $20 in MFT money!  One winner is chosen at random each week.

Thanks for visiting!  Have a great day!
