You Lead, I’ll Follow

Hi everyone!  It’s Day 1 of December previews with My Favorite Things!

Teaser PRIZES begin today so be sure to leave comments as you look around.  (You can find direct links to all participating DT HERE.)  Each day, two prize vouchers are held by two members of our Design Team.  You’ll have all week to comment on each of the posts and all winners will be posted on Kim’s blog on Tuesday, December 6th around 7:30pm.

Today we’re previewing Who’s That Girl and Guy? May I Have This Dance.

This set is full of fab sentiments.  I used one of my favorites here.  (My second favorite is “It takes two to Tango.”  Cute.  🙂

I pieced the girl’s dress (a bit tricky being black ink on black print) and colored the guy’s suit with Copics.  After coloring each button, I used a Sakura white Souffle pen to dot on a hint of shine.  Once that dried, I dotted over each button with a Sakura clear glaze pen. Nice and shiney.  🙂   The white pin heads were colored using a black Copic.

Here are the details about the upcoming release:

  • You can attend the New Release Party on December 6th from 8-10 PM EST here in the MFT forum where you can enjoy fun, games and PRIZES!
  • The MFT release, including all new stamp sets and Die-namics, will take place December 6th at 10 PM EST. You’ll find all the newest products here at release time.
