Happy Birthday, Miss Kimmie!

Hi everyone! Time for another challenge with Kraftin Kimmie Stamps and the Krafty Girls!  Yesterday was Kimmie’s birthday so this week we are making birthday cards!  If you’d like to play along, be sure to post a link to your card on the Krafty Blog for your chance to win a free stamp!

This week I used one of the images from Cheryl Alger’s sweet Sugar & Spice set.   The sentiment is from Kimmie’s Everyday Sentiments.

After stamping the image, I masked the balloon then stamped it in two more times (using a marker on the rubber).  The extra strings were drawn in by hand using a 0.3 Black Copic Multiliner.  The dots on the pink balloon as well as the white buttons on the girl’s dress were dotted in using Copic Opaque White and a toothpick.

You can see more birthday cards for Kimmie HERE on the Krafty blog. While you’re there, be sure to leave her some birthday wishes too!

Also, through tonight only (Saturday, February 4th), Kimmie has placed 100 of her favorite stamps on sale for 41% off or $4.10 (in celebration of her 41st birthday).  You can check them out HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!
