MFT Previews, Day 6 – You’re Smokin’!

It’s Pure Innocence preview day with My Favorite Things!  We have five adorable new sets to share…Firefighter Girl, Firefighter Boy, Purrfect, Blowing Bubbles and Violin Girl.

I chose to use this sweet Firefighter Girl.  I created longer banners using Mix & Match Banners Die-namics and Joanne’s tutorial found in THIS post.  The flourishes (flames) on the sentiment tab are from our new Finishing Flourishes set.  Along the bottom I used two strips of our new Monarch Border Die-namics.  I love the look of this border layered.

After coloring with Copics, I used a clear glaze pen to add a reflective shine to the coat stripes and emblem on the helmet.  The string tied around the sentiment tab was dyed to match using a Copic.

On the inside, I stamped the word “smokin” a second time, just for emphasis, highlighted it with an E02 Copic and stamped the partial silhouette along with more “flames” from Finishing Flourishes.
