Welcome to Day 1 of My Favorite Things‘ March release previews! (Can you believe it’s just about March already?)
Teaser PRIZES begin today so be sure to leave comments as you look around. You can find direct links to all participating DT HERE. Each day, two prize vouchers are held by two members of our design team. You’ll have all week to comment on each of the posts and all winners will be posted on Kim’s blog on Tuesday, March 6th around 7:30pm.
Today we’re previewing Who’s That Girl Puddle Jumper.
I had some bright, cheery paper left over from our JiFFy Challenge and decided it would be put to good use here. (Plus I had coordinating papers and chipboard flowers from that same line –Pebbles “Fresh Goods.”)
Although I did not paper-piece the coat with patterned paper, I stamped that portion of the image a second time so I could pop up the center just a bit.
For extra shine and a “rubbery” look, I colored over the boots with a clear glaze pen.
I *love* the new Copic BG90. It’s perfect for a bit darker sky background.
On the inside, I stamped the image, minus the surrounding circle.
Here are the details about the upcoming release:
- You can attend the New Release Party on March 6th from 8-10 PM EST here in the MFT forum where you can enjoy fun, games and PRIZES!
- The MFT release, including all new stamp sets and Die-namics, will take place March 6th at 10 p.m. EST. You’ll find all the newest products here at release time.
