MFT Preview 3 — Let’s Hang Out

It’s Day 3 of My Favorite Things July previews!  Today the team is sharing samples using Complimentary Greetings, Clearly Sentimental about Audrey Hepburn and Claire Keay’s Monkey Business.

I used Claire Keay’s adorable Monkey Business along with new Vine Border Die-namics. My sentiment is stamped on a Sentiment Strip and I used Simply Scallops Medium along the bottom.

I had an extra strip of the Vine Border so I laid that across the bottom, cutting the sentiment panel to fit the curve.  (Easy “how to” below.)  The set comes with a banana which I stamped, masked and stamped two more times to create the small bunch.

I don’t have a fancy bendable ruler so here’s how I cut my paper to fit the curve of the vine:

First, I laid the white panel where I wanted it on the inside of the card.

I then used a pen (or a pencil will do) to add little dotted lines between each leaf.

Your paper will look like this.

Cut along the dotted line.

Make any slight adjustments as needed and adhere the vine.  🙂
