It’s time to begin teasers for My Favorite Things‘ October release! Today we’re sharing samples using Howdy and Western Backgrounds from Lisa Johnson Designs.
Howdy is a super fun set packed FULL of country/western goodness.
Here I’ve paired the horse image, die-cut using Circle STAX 1 and 2, along with new Western Star Border Die-namics. Farmhouse Paper Company’s Sugar Hill patterned paper, crocheted trim, hemp cord and a Hot Fudge button were a perfect country blend.
The Western Star Border comes with two strips, one of sold connected circles, the other with the star cut-outs. I die-cut a second solid strip from Hot Fudge cardstock to pull double duty along the bottom as a scalloped border.
On the inside, I stamped one of the many sentiments included with the set along with a coil of rope which fit perfectly into the corner.
