I’ve mentioned before that I’m not a big fan of mass production so I’ve been trying to take every available opportunity to complete holiday cards. One more down today (and another tomorrow)! 🙂
On my card today I used one of my favorites of the winter/holiday Pure Innocence sets from My Favorite Things, Sending You a Little Christmas. Along with the set, I used MFT’s new Jumbo Snowflake Die-namics along with Let It Snowflake, Snow Drifts and Dainty Dots Border.
After coloring my image with Copics on X-Press It Blending Card, I dotted in snowflakes using a clear Stardust gel pen. I dotted sparkles onto the girl’s various trims and added lines of shine on the snowflakes. The tree was decorated with a Baby Blue Spica glitter pen with the clear Stardust dotted over the star.
In the center of the snowflake, I stitched a shiny Sno Cone button.
On the inside, I stamped the image and sentiment, then added some Snow Drifts. Before adhering the drifts, I sponged the edges with Antique Linen Distress ink to add definition.
