My Sincere Sympathy

Sadly, it’s time for another sympathy card.  I had intended for this one to be fairly quick, but once I got started, I couldn’t stop.

My Favorite ThingsClearly Sentimental about Sympathy has become my go-to set for sympathy cards.  I like the shorter sentiments for the front and there is a great assortment of longer sentiments for the inside…where I never know what to say.  Sometimes there are no words (and there is a sentiment that says just that).

I also used Flower Medley, Mini Doily Circles and Circle STAX Die-namics.

Base cardstock is Whip Cream with some Antique Linen Distress ink sponged around the edges.  (Brushed Corduroy Distress ink was used around the edges of the patterned paper.)   Natural buttons were stitched using hemp cord.

On the inside, I adhered scraps from the front and stamped another sentiment from the set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I’ll be back soon!
