My FAVORITE (Christmas present EVER), MFT Day 2

Hi everyone!  The My Favorite Things team is back today with our second day of December previews.  Today we’re sharing samples using Laina Lamb’s new sets, Journal It Graph Paper Notes and Document It Captured Memories.

This year, the one and only thing on our daughter’s Christmas list was a kitten.   We thought and thought about it.  Then we thought some more and finally decided that IF we found the right one, we would get one.  I must say we got extremely lucky because little (2 pound) Ellie is the sweetest kitty I think I’ve ever met. She’s a snuggler which just melts my heart (and calms my worry of ending up with “psycho-head-spinning” cat).  We all love her to pieces. Katie has not yet stopped squealing.  Ellie is her FAVORITE Christmas present. Ever.)  :)

I decided to make a card for Katie so she can write a little something on the inside about Ellie and how excited she is to have her.  So I guess it isn’t really a “card” so much as a “keepsake.”  (Maybe I’m **slowly** slinking my way into scrapbooking?)

On the front I used Laina’s new Insert It Insta Frame Die-namics along with a combo of two sentiments from Captured Memories.

Hot Fudge cardstock was used as the base and frame with a Pet Charm cut from cork and a Dainty Bow cut from Sour Apple felt.

On the inside, I stamped EVIDENCE from Graph Paper Notes and adhered the small die-cut cork fish bones from the tag on the front.
