It’s Day 3 of My Favorite Things‘ December previews! Today we’re sharing samples using Lovey Dovey Sentiments and Clearly Sentimental about New Beginnings.
I created two cards using Lovey Dovey Sentiments.
My first card is pretty simple. I used two inks (Memento Nautical Blue and Potter’s Clay) to stamp the sentiment then die-cut and layered using Designer Label 1 STAX Die-namics.
Base cardstock and sentiment panel are Whip Cream heavyweight cardstock. The brads were created using a “Build-a-Brad” set from Stampin’ Up. (I’ve had the kit for years. It’s about time I used it, right?)
After stamping and die-cutting, I lightly sponged the edges using Ranger Antique Linen distress ink, then adhered the sentiment panel over the larger label using X-Press It Foam Tape.
On the inside, I used the two inks again to stamp a second sentiment from the set.
My second card uses Lovey Dovey Sentiments along with Layered Heart, Fishtail Flags, Sentiment Strips and the tiny heart from Notched Tag Die-namics. I used Wild Cherry cardstock along with Wild Cherry felt (for the tiny heart). On the safety pin, I tied a tiny bow using hemp cord.
On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from the set along with two hearts, stamped using Wild Cherry ink.
