MFT Previews — Pure Innocence

It’s time to preview the new Pure Innocence sets with My Favorite Things!  (I just love Pure Innocence.)  :)

This month’s releases include Thanks Snow Much, Bear Hugs and Warm Wishes.

Today I chose to use Warm Wishes along with Snow Drifts and new Looped Border.

After coloring my image, I lightly sponged the edges with Brushed Corduroy Distress ink, die-cut a couple of Snow Drifts and sponged those edges as well.

I didn’t have tiny brads to coordinate with the girl’s coat so I used an E43 Copic to color over white mini brads.  I purposely did not smooth the color to give the buttons a bit of texture.

I added a bit of Brushed Corduroy ink to a couple of wooden snowflakes then stitched Hot Fudge Buttons to the centers using hemp cord.

On the inside, I stamped the girl using distress ink, stamped a sentiment from Pure Innocence All Occasion Sentiments, added a Snow Drift and one more Looped Border.
