MFT December New Product Tour

Tonight I have four cards to share using three different sets (but one paper pad).

My first two cards use new Bear Hugs from the Pure Innocence line.

After coloring my image with Copics, I used Copic Opaque White and a tiny paintbrush to add the little dots to her shirt.  I stitched on a Tangy Orange button using hemp cord and added a sentiment stamped onto a Mini Tab Foursome.

On the inside, I added a second sentiment from the set.

I tried to simplify my second card (while challenging myself to leave a lot of white space…something I struggle with).

I stitched another Tangy Orange button to the bottom over a couple of Fishtail Flags.

This time I added dots to her shirt using a darker color Copic and lighter dots to her pants using a colorless blender pen.

I finished the inside simply, adding a sentiment and a thin Fishtail Flag.

Here I used another new Pure Innocence set, Thanks Snow Much.

Snowmen are so quick and easy to color.  All you really need to do is add a bit of shadow.  Here I’ve used BG70 and BG72 with a bit of W00.

Behind my image I placed a white Snowflake Doily, tucking the bottom right corner of the image panel into the slits of the corner of the snowflake.

A *super* quick finish to the inside.

And because I love this girl from Warm Wishes so very much, I had to use her on my last card.

I used tiny dots once again to create texture, cut her out and placed her over a layered Snowflake Doily.  In each corner of the snowflake, I adhered a clear rhinestone to add a bit of shine.

On the inside, I stamped another sentiment and added another snowflake doily.

Tip:  When placing a doily (or other die-cut image) behind another panel, you only need to die-cut the portion that will be exposed.  Here, I used the portion of 6×6 paper left over from the die-cut snowflake on the front of my card. I was able to position the white panel over the missing sides. Noone will ever know. Well, now everyone knows *I* did that, but noone will know if *you* do that.  🙂
