Tonight I have four cards to share using two of our TOTALLY adorable sets from the new Doodle Garden collection.
My first two cards use Far Out.
I absolutely ♥ her. 🙂
I stamped her onto X-Press It Blending Card, colored with Copics and added ground with colored pencils. I dotted a few freckles onto her cheeks using a Copic 0.1 Wine Multi-liner.
I die-cut a Peace Sign from Black Licorice cardstock, dyed white string with a Copic and “hung” the sign from a tiny brad. The sentiment was stamped using new Black Licorice ink and tucked beneath the image panel.
On the inside, I stamped another sentiment from the set (in MFT Black Licorice) and used scraps of the patterned paper.
On my second card, I used Far Out along with new Heart STAX.
Again, I colored with Copics, then cut her out and adhered her over hearts die-cut from patterned paper and Razzle Berry cardstock.
I used Black Licorice ink to stamp the sentiment along the lined paper and added tiny AMuse heart twinkle stickers around the border.
On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment (in Black Licorice) and a silhouette of the girl in new Sno Cone ink.
Next, I switched to I’m Raptor Round Your Finger. Again… ♥ ♥ ♥. 🙂
Tucked beneath the image panel, I used a strip of Layered Heart Border die-cut from Jellybean Green cardstock.
I used Copics once again, but this time after laying down my base color, I added dots to create texture and shadows.
My sentiment was stamped using MFT Black Licorice ink. LOVE the extra little bit of boldness.
On the inside, I stamped a silhouette of the little dino using Jellybean Green ink.
On my last card, I used I’m Raptor Round Your Finger again, switching this time to browns.
I used more dots and added a strip of Layered Heart Border, cut from Hot Fudge cardstock, along the left edge of the image panel.
After stamping my sentiment in Black Licorice ink, I matted it onto Hot Fudge cardstock and inserted the ends into a Layered Heart Border strip.
On the inside, I stamped an additional sentiment and adhered a few of the leftover hearts from the Layered Heart Border strip.
