MFT February New Product Tour – Springtime Wishes Four Ways

Tonight I have four cards to share, all using the new Springtime Wishes set from the Doodle Garden collection.  One stamp set, four different ways.

On my first card I used bright, cheery paper/colors.

On her dress, I added little pleat lines using different shades of blue/green Copics.

The sentiment was stamped using MFT’s Black Licorice ink with Razzle Berry ink “wiped” down the sides of the Fishtail Flag die-cut.

On the inside, I stamped a silhouette of the image using Sno Cone ink and added a second sentiment from the set.

On my second card I tried something a little different.  Instead of stamping the tulips, I left that portion of the stamp uninked and added in two of the smaller eggs from Lisa’s Easter Elements Die-namics as balloons, drawing in the strings with a black marker.  I placed a small piece of foam tape beneath the red balloon to add dimension and interest.

I colored the dress a little differently on this card.  I left the bottom edges of each ruffle white, adding shadow with darker reds.

The birthday message was created using Airplane Greetings along with Fishtail Flags Layers and a bit of Hemp Cord.

On the inside, I added two more “egg” balloons and another sentiment from Airplane Greetings.

On this card, I decided to keep things a bit more simple using pretty MME papers and a cut out image.

After stamping and coloring onto X-Press It Blending Card, I cut out my image and added some sparkle using a clear Sakura glitter pen.  The image is mounted flat to the paper with a small piece of foam tape beneath the largest tulip.

On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from the set along with the tulip portion of the image.

On my last card, I did something I have a very hard time doing…leaving lots of white.  🙂  I added a bit of foam tape beneath the bottom edges of the white panel to add dimension.

I colored the dress as I did on the birthday image but this time I left even more of the white to show.

The little tag was created using Notched Tag Die-namics.  I cut two tags, one from Sweet Tooth cardstock, one from Tangy Orange.  To finish the front of my card, I added two strands of Cantaloupe twine, tied over the tag.

On the inside, I adhered a strip of leftover patterned paper and stamped the image in Black Licorice ink.
