MFT Academy – Coloring Hair with Copic Markers

Hi everyone!  I’m excited today to be your  MFT Academy Guest Professor once again! This time my focus is on coloring hair with Copic markers.   I’ve used a few different images ranging from very basic to more complex with lots of tips and photos of each.  You can check out the full tutorial HERE.   I hope you find it helpful.  🙂

For my final (and most complex) hair sample, I used Far Out from the Doodle Garden line at My Favorite Things.

The image was stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored with Copics and layered upon Tangy Orange cardstock.  I used Circle STAX 1 and 2 with Black Licorice ink for the sentiment.

On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment and silhouette using Black Licorice ink.  Along the bottom I placed a Little Open Scallop Strip, also used on the front.

Again, you can find my tutorial on the MFT Blog right HERE.  Thanks SO much for visiting!  🙂
