MFT Previews, Day 1 – Hello, Pumpkin

Hi everyone! This has to be the fastest moving summer yet.  I can’t believe it’s already time to share samples using My Favorite Things‘ August release! And a fun release it is!  🙂  My card today uses one of our new Pure Innocence sets, Pretty Pumpkin.

I did a bit of paper-piecing and used lots of Die-namics — Picket Fence, Mini Wavy Pennants, Circle STAX 1 and 2 and Simply Scallops Small.

The cute PI girl was stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers.

After piecing her dress, I stamped the pumpkin face using Black Licorice ink and sponged the edges using Kraft ink. The bow was adhered in the center only to allow the sides to bend forward just enough to add a bit of dimension.

Inside, I used a scrap of patterned paper, stamped an additional sentiment and a silhouette of the girl onto Whip Cream card stock.  Again, the edges were sponged using Kraft ink.

Be sure to head over to the MFT blog for direct links to more samples, details regarding the August 6  release and info on teaser PRIZES!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!  See you tomorrow!  🙂
