Hi everyone! The My Favorite Things team is taking a moment to revisit this month’s new releases (all available right HERE). I only had a wee bit of time to play with new Paper Bag Peek-a-Boo Die-namics, so I decided to play with that set a bit more.
I seem to be going through a bit of a color-block phase. Here I used the spider die along with the dotted line from Lisa’s Hearts and Stitches stamp set to create little creepy spider trails. The sentiment, stamped in Sweet Tooth pigment ink, is from MFT’s exclusive stamp set, Trick or Sweet. Spiders were cut from strips of Grape Jelly, Limeade and Orange Fizz card stock, leaving the Black Licorice base to show through.
Inside, I used Trick or Sweet along with Layered Treat Tag to create the sentiment, then die-cut another spider from the white panel, exposing the black beneath.
For my second card, I used the smile from the pumpkin die in Paper Bag Peek-a-Boos, die-cutting from the same card stocks as above. The circular eyes are the flower centers from Flower Border with the sentiment, again, from Trick or Sweet stamped in Sweet Tooth pigment ink. The Orange Fizz and Grape Jelly buttons were stitched to the card front using white string, with a little loop left remaining on each side.
Inside, I stamped the Happy Halloween from Trick or Sweet in Black Licorice ink. *love the coverage* 🙂
