Hi everyone! We have had the most glorious weather here (at least, as I’m typing this). Lower than normal temps, more importantly to me–lower than normal humidity. It’s like a sweet little taste of fall, just a bit early. I love it.
For this week’s sketch challenge with My Favorite Things, I’ve used WBD You’re So Special to Me with sentiments from LJD Pretty Poppies. (I ♥ the font.) New Brick Red, Fuse Green and Olive card stock create the perfect blend to add a fall feel to my card.
After stamping the image onto X-Press It Blending Card, I colored with Copics. The small tabs at the top, as well as the embossed/stitched strip at the bottom, were die-cut using Blueprints 1 with the tiny heart cut from Fluttering Hearts Die-namics. The double layered scalloped strip along the bottom is from Blueprints 4 with a Fuse Green button tied with hemp cord just above.
Inside, I used a second sentiment from Pretty Poppies and adhered some additional Fluttering Hearts along the bottom. Lots of room for a personal message. 🙂
