Hi everyone! We’re moving right along with September previews from My Favorite Things! I have two cards to share today, both featuring new Sunny Day Doodles – Celebrate Life. (I love these doodle-y sentiments. So fun!)
My first card uses one of the sentiments, stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card, colored with Copics, then die-cut using LLD Insert It – 3 x 4 Notebook Paper Die-namics. After die-cutting, I added Glossy Accents to the three smaller hearts to add a bit of shine/interest.
Flowers were die-cut from Wild Cherry and Grape Jelly card stock using Flower Medley Die-namics with small flags on the right die-cut using Fishtail Flags STAX. I used a super-thin sheet of cork to create a tack board appearance, adding enamel dots by My Mind’s Eye as fun, bright thumb tacks.
Inside, I stamped a second sentiment from the set, again coloring with Copic markers. I had a thin strip of cork left from the front, so I used that here as a second little “tack board.”
My second card uses the chalkboard technique. I stamped the sentiment using Sweet Tooth Pigment ink onto Black Licorice card stock.
The banners were created using Mix Max Banner Die-namics with the small heart from Notched Tag Die-namics. Each flag and the heart are all raised on foam tape.
Inside, I added a small strip of Black Licorice card stock, stamped with elements from Pretty Pocket stamp set using Sweet Tooth ink.
