MFT October Previews, Day 1

Hi everyone!  It’s time to share samples using My Favorite Things‘ October release!  This month we’re getting into the holiday/winter spirit.  To kick it off, I’m beginning with two cards using Snowflake Splendor, new from Lisa Johnson.

On my first card, I used Kraft card stock as a base, stamping snowflakes using Sweet Tooth pigment ink.   (I cut apart the three smallest snowflake images to create a bit more freedom with their use.)

The two larger snowflakes were white embossed with the largest center snowflake die-cut using coordinating Snowflake Splendor Die-namics.  I added dots of Star Dust Stickles for a bit of shine as well as a few white dots using White Enamel Accents.

Inside, I used Sweet Tooth ink to stamp a sentiment from Inspired by Christmas as well as a swirl and snowflake from Snowflake Splendor.

On my second card, I stamped the sentiment and snowflakes using Sweet Tooth ink on Blu Raspberry card stock, then white embossed for a brighter appearance.

After embossing, I added various sizes of Swarovski crystals for added dimension and a lot of sparkle.

Inside, I stamped  a sentiment from More Essential Sentiments along with the swirl from Snowflake Splendor.

Be sure to head on over to the MFT blog for direct links to more samples (including those by our fabulous guest designer, my dear friend, Lori Craig), details regarding our October 8 release as well as info on teaser PRIZES.

Thanks SO much for stopping by!  See you tomorrow!  🙂
