Have a Sweet Christmas – MFT New Product Tour

Hi everyone!  Welcome to the My Favorite Things New Product Tour!  As you probably know, all of the October releases we’ve previewed over the last week are now available in the MFT Boutique!  Our team and distinguished guest are back one final time to share samples using tonight’s release.  I’ve used Sunny Day Doodles Sweet Christmas.

On my first sample, I used a sentiment from the set along with the little gingerbread boy and Looped Border Die-namics (which perfectly matches his icing).

The images were stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers.   The gingerbread men are tucked into the Looped Border and secured with foam tape.  On the buttons, I placed drops of Glossy Accents for shine and dimension.

Inside, I added a second Timber Green Looped Border and a third gingerbread man.

My second card is quite a bit simpler.  I used Swiss Dots Stencil (along with a Crafter’s Embossing Pad) to emboss the dots onto the Kraft card base.  The sentiment was stamped in Sweet Tooth pigment ink and white embossed.

I used colored pencils to add the bits of color to the holly and heart, and die-cut small elements from Blueprints 8 to create the little flags/heart combo in the corner (as well as the scalloped edge beneath the sentiment).

Inside, I drew a straight line using an opaque white pen then stamped the little hanging ornaments, embossed in white and colored in the heart centers.
