The More Candles, the Bigger the Wish

Happy 14th birthday to my “little” boy!  I can’t believe how fast time flies.  It doesn’t seem that long ago when he, at four, quarter in hand, insisted on buying me a Mother’s Day present from the vending machine in the women’s bathroom at the fitness center.  (He thought it was lipstick.)  A couple weeks later, in the same bathroom, after sounding out the letters, he demanded to know why napkins were being sold when there were clearly paper towels available.  Of course we were not alone so there were giggles galore.  Ah, memories.  🙂   Never a dull moment, to this day, that’s for sure.  Love that boy with all my heart.

Teen boy cards are so hard for me but I managed to come up with something that I think is appropriate.  (And pretty quick and easy.)

I chose a sentiment from Birthday Greetings by My Favorite Things, stamped in Hot Fudge ink onto Whip Cream card stock.

I cut thin strips of Hot Fudge, Orange Fizz, Berrylicious and Factory Green card stock. I adhered the strips to copy paper and used High Rise Alphabet Die-namics to die-cut the numbers.  They were adhered to circles cut from Circle STAX 1 and 2 then layered atop a few Fishtail Flags.

I’ll be back tomorrow (tonight, midnight actually) with Day 1 of November previews.  It’s another GREAT release!  I hope you’ll check it out!

Thanks for stopping by!
