I’d Walk the Plank for You

Hi everyone!  Thanks for popping in to check out another preview of MFT‘s January 7 release!  (Two more days!)  Today I’ve used Wendy Burns Designs’ totally adorable It’s a Pirate’s Life set.

How cute are those little guys?  (They make me smile.)

I used a base of Kraft, adding a Chocolate Brown scalloped strip cut from Blueprints 9.

To create the “planks” I stamped the wood Washi Pattern in Chocolate Brown ink onto Kraft card stock then die-cut with Washi Tape Die-namics.

After deciding to hang the treasure chest, I decided to hang some tiny hearts as well (die-cut using new Blueprints 11).

Inside I stamped the ship in Kraft ink, adding another small heart to the flag.

Be sure to check out the MFT Blog for direct links to more Countdown samples, info on prizes and all you need to know about our January 7 release!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I’ll see you tomorrow!

Additional supplies:  Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Copic markers (E00, E11, BV000, E31, E33, E41, E42, BG10, B28, R29, YR12, BG70, 0.3 black multi liner), X-Press It Foam Tape.  Finished size 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″.
