Hi everyone! I’m back today for MFT‘s January Release Rewind. I didn’t have a chance during the previews to work with Rose with Overlay or Lisa’s Wood You Be Mine set so that’s what I have to share today. 🙂
First, I used Rose with Overlay and Celebrate Big.
I stamped the Woodgrain Background onto Natural card stock using Kraft ink then rounded the corners. After stamping the sentiment in Chocolate Brown ink, I added a strip of trim, then die-cut the rose from gingham and Kraft. The rose is popped up on foam tape with two Layered Leaves tucked beneath.
Inside, I stamped a second sentiment from the Celebrate Big set and added just the overlay portion of the rose to the lower left corner.
My next card is super-simple, using Lisa’s new Wood You Be Mine set. I used the Woodgrain Background once again, layering it atop a Sweet Tooth base.
The heart was stamped using Natural ink on Smooth White card stock then the sentiment was stamped in Chocolate Brown. I masked the heart, then used Laina’s Right on Target to stamp the arrow ends on each side.
Inside, I added a leftover strip of Woodgrain Background and stamped XOXO from Distressed Hearts, again using Chocolate Brown ink.
