Hi everyone! It’s time for a Creative Challenge with My Favorite Things. This month we are creating custom sentiments or adding personalization to our projects using alphabet dies or stamps. I have two cards to share. 🙂
First, I created a custom sentiment to go along with Doodle Garden Sweet on You.
I used Cotton Candy ink to stamp Western Backgrounds onto Cotton Candy card stock then die-cut the letters with Highrise Lowercase Alphabet Die-namics. The small comma die is from Bottom Line Numbers and Symbols.
The image was stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers.
Inside, I used Black Licorice ink to stamp a sentiment from Cheerful Blessings, added a strip of Kraft card stock and a heart die-cut from Blueprints 11.
On my second card, I used Negative Dot Alphabet to enhance the “Be Happy” die from Blueprints 11. I used Black Licorice for the sentiment pieces with Cotton Candy and accents of Razzleberry and Pink Lemonade.
Tip: When you need a comma or apostrophe and there isn’t one in the set, use the negative piece cut from another die, such as I used here. My apostrophe is from the script letter e in the word “smile” from Blueprints 11.
Inside, I completed the sentiment from the front using Celebrate Big and added a second smiley face. 🙂
