MFT March Release Rewind, Wildflowers Centerpieces (x2)

Today the MFT team is revisiting our latest release, giving us the chance to explore new products we may not have had a chance to use during the previews. I had fun playing with new Wildflowers Centerpieces Die-namics. ♥

My first card is fairly simple, using Sno Cone and Sweet Tooth card stock along with Lisa’s Words of Inspiration and Cloud Trio. The sentiment was stamped using Sweet Tooth pigment ink then heat embossed with white powder.

Inside, I stamped a sentiment from Peaceful Wildflowers and adhered two tiny hearts die-cut using Fluttering Hearts Die-namics.

My second card, also using Wildflowers Centerpieces Die-namics, was a bit more work as I added the additional flowers but I love this look (and having this option).

The panel was cut from Sno Cone card stock and the flower tops were cut from Insulation Pink. I highly advise watching the product information video (found HERE) as it includes many helpful tips in using this die.

To create the sentiment, I cut apart the “Easter Bunny” stamp (from Easter Bunny stamp set), allowing me to more easily put together “Easter” and “Wishes.”

The vertical strip is from Blueprints 2 and the Insulation Pink Button was stitched to the strip using white string.

Inside, I adhered additional flowers and stamped a sentiment from Embellished Eggs. To adhere the flowers easily, I die-cut the Sno Cone flower panel, applied glue to each flower stem, adhered the blue panel to the white panel with the bottom edge of the blue hanging off the bottom edge of the white, and THEN cut away the bottom edge of blue that holds all the flowers together. (Clear as mud?)

For the width of the card, I had to cut two flower panels but only used about 1/4 or less of the second one.
