A Copic Welcome and Give-away

The Copic Papercrafting Instructor and Design Teams would like to give a colorful “WELCOME” to the newest instructor joining us… Michelle Houghton!

Michelle has done a number of special events and demos for us over the years and we are thrilled to finally have her on our teaching team.  Michelle has a BS in Fine Arts and an MA in Teaching with years of experience teaching high school art, live workshops and online crafting classes.  We look forward to working with her and can’t wait to see her in action!

We can’t have a celebration without gifts, so we are giving away some great Copic prizes!

Join us in welcoming Michelle by visiting each of the blogs listed below for a chance to win.  Don’t forget to leave some love at each blog because EACH TEAM MEMBER will be giving away a Copic T-Shirt and a 7-piece Doodle Kit to one lucky winner.

Commenting will close at midnight on Sunday, July 6th and winners announced on individual blogs on Monday, July 7th.

Of course I can’t post a giveaway without featuring a Copic card.    🙂  Today I’ve used Sunflower Sweetheart from My Favorite Things.  All stamping was done on X-Press It Blending Card and, of course, colored with Copic markers.

The girl and flowers were die-cut and raised on foam tape.

Inside,  I stamped a second sentiment and added a sun and flower.

Here are your links for the hop.  Don’t forget to stop at each one and comment for your chance to win!

Good luck!

MFT July Previews, Celebrate You

Hi everyone!  It’s time for July previews with MFT!  If you’ve been a fan for a while, you know that July is the month we celebrate MFT’s birthday as well as Kim’s (super-fabulous “MFT Lady”).  And boy oh, boy do we have a bunch of amazing birthday themed stamps and dies for you!  So much fun!

I have two samples today, a his and a hers.  Ladies first…

My first card uses new Celebrate You stamp set (by Lisa Johnson Designs) as well Blueprints 17.

I die-cut pieces from Blueprints 17 using bright Razzle Berry card stock, stamping the sentiment, gifts and flags to match with Razzle Berry and Black Licorice dye inks.  I love the embossed wood grain design on the frame.

Inside, I stamped a second sentiment and added a big, bright gift.

Next I have a masculine birthday card using Chocolate Brown, Kraft and Smooth White card stock.  I used new Birthday Chalkboard Greetings with Happy Birthday Background and Blueprints 17.

Flags are attached to hemp cord and raised on foam tape.

Inside, I used a leftover piece of the birthday text and stamped a sentiment from Birthday Chalkboard Greetings.

Be sure to check out the MFT Blog for direct links to more Countdown samples, info on prizes and all you need to know about our July 8 release!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I’ll be back tomorrow!

Please note that links to new products will not be in effect until time of release, Tuesday, July 8, 10 p.m. EST.
