Joy to the World

Hi everyone!  It’s time for another sample using Paper Smooches‘ latest release. Today I’ve used A Blessed Christmas with Blessed Icons dies.

 I adore this cute little angel.  She was die-cut from X-Press It Blending Card, stamped using MFT’s Black Licorice hybrid ink then colored with Copic markers. After coloring, I brushed over her wings with a clear Wink of Stella pen.  It’s so easy to apply, dries very quickly and adds just a touch of sparkle.  If you look closely, you might be able to see it.  She’s popped up on foam tape and adhered over Flag Tags and a Stitched Frame.

MFT Previews, thankful

Hi everyone!    I’m back today with another sample of MFT‘s September release. Today I used two new Die-namics sets, Words of Gratitude and Falling Leaves.

After  cutting the leaves from X-Press It Blending Card, I used my Copic Air Brush and Copic markers to color the leaves.  The heart was cut from the red leaf using new Mason Jar Die-namics and “thankful” was cut from Hot Fudge card stock.

I *love* the embossed detail in the leaves.  (And I love my air brush!)

Inside, I stamped a small sentiment from Thankful Thoughts  (which coordinates with Words of Gratitude) and added a fourth airbrushed leaf.
