Celebrate and Enjoy Your Day

Hi everyone!  I have a card to share today using a few of Paper Smooches‘ upcoming releases — Birthday Bash (free with a $60 order through the end of May!) with My Peeps and new coordinating My Peeps Dies.  All will be available at 8 pm PT on April 30th.

Celebrate-Enjoy-Chick-600Everything was stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers.  The sky was created by die-cutting one of the soon to be released Waves Dies, then I used ink and a blending tool to sponge around  the waves to create “clouds.”

Thanks so much for stopping by! I’ll be back soon with something fun and NEW (for me)! (That’s a hint.)  🙂

I ♥ Your Twisted Sense of Humor

Hi all!  In honor of National Pretzel Day (ha, ha), I thought I’d sneak in a card using Paper SmoochesCalorie Free stamp set. It’s super-cute and has some great sentiments. (I have several friends who could receive this card.)

Twisted-Sense-of-Humor

I used my MISTI to cleanly stamp the solid pretzels.  Boy oh boy do I love that little gadget.  I also used it to stamp all but the heart in the sentiment, then stamp the heart only in red.  Super easy.

Twisted-Sense-of-HumorCU

I used a 0.3 Gray Copic Multi-liner to define the twists in the pretzels and added a bit of Diamond Dust, adhered with Glossy Accents, as salt.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy what’s left of your National Pretzel Day!  🙂

Today I’ve used My Peeps with new coordinating My Peeps Icons.  I paired this super cool chick (with pink dip-dyed wings) with the iPad from Teen Routine.  Youre-One-Cool-Chick

The chick was die-cut from X-Press It Blending Card, colored with Copic markers and popped up on Kool Tak clear foam squares. The main panel is Blending Card as well.  (I like the bright white.)

Youre-One-Cool-Chick-Up

A couple of our designers are taking a small hiatus to care for different things in their life. Amy Rohl is filling in for Emily and Jennifer McGuire is filling in for Pamela.  We are so excited to have them join us in May!

Happy hopping!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Copic markers: Y21, YR23, YR27, R01, R02, R81, R83, R85, C00, C1, BG11. Finished size 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″.

you inspire me

Hi everyone. I’m still working through my pile of colored images. This one uses Saturated Canary‘s Copica.   I ♥ her.

you-inspire-me4

She was printed onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers. The sentiment is from Paper SmoochesBosom Buddy. I did a bit of stamp surgery, nipping the words apart for easier stamping.

I’ll be back tomorrow morning for the Paper Smooches May release blog hop. Hope to see you then!  🙂

you are wonderful

Hi all!  Just stopping by to share one last card from Paper Smooches‘ latest release.  This one is super quick and super simple.

You-Are-Wonderful-500

I used Kudos Two with my favorite thin little flower die-cut from Pocket Dies. It’s so dainty. 🙂

Keep an eye out this Thursday morning for Paper Smooches’ May release hop!

I’m off to catch up on the hockey play-offs.  It’s so exciting (and I’ll be sad when it’s over)!

Thanks for stopping by!

happy spring

Happy weekend to everyone! It’s been an exciting and fun one here. But it’s not related to paper crafting so I won’t bore you.  ha, ha.

I have a Paper Smooches card to share today using We Adore You stamps and icons, a flower from Twiggy Florets and sentiment from Spring Fling.

Michele Boyer - Paper Smooches

The flowers and sentiment were white embossed on pink and the critters were die-cut/stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers.

love ya

Hi everyone.  🙂   I still have quite a few colored images left from the 30-day color challenge on Instagram.  (I truly loved that challenge and look forward to the next one in June.)

Love-ya

Before printing Saturated Canary‘s Keys Please, I deleted out the word “pass” from the paper the girl is holding.  I printed onto X-Press It Blending Card, colored with Copic markers and stamped a heart on the paper instead.  A heart still works with the keys she’s holding, right?  “Key to my heart?”  Sure.  🙂

I have a (somewhat) small pile of new stamps I hope to get to soon. Stamping Bella, Mama Elephant, Simon Says Stamp, WPlus9…Fun stuff!  I’ll keep you posted!  😉

hi, Mo

Hey everyone.  🙂  I seem to be on a bit of a “digital image roll” lately.  This time I’ve checked out Mo’s Digital Pencil.

hi-2

I printed Flowers ForU onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers (listed below). The sentiment is from Paper SmoochesScripty Sayings.

I liked coloring this little guy.  🙂   I kept it simple, adding no embellishments.

Three Fast & Fun Birthday Cards (with tutorials)

Hi everyone! I have three birthday cards to share today, one cute and quirky, one bright and cheery and one just plain cute.  🙂

You can find step-by-step instructions with complete supply lists for each here:

3 Fast & Fun Homemade Birthday Card Tutorials

First I combined a couple different stamp sets, sentiments and dies to create this cute chick on a wire.  🙂

Michele Boyer - Paper Smooches

I used bright white X-Press It Blending Card for the background and Copic marker coloring of the chick.

Next I created a fun/festive card by embossing a background stamp then sponging over with bright inks.

Michele Boyer - My Favorite Things

I used coordinating colors to brighten the sentiment as well.

Lastly, I have a cute little 3-d cupcake with a bit of patterned paper.

I understand…

Hi everyone!  Just popping in to share a card I created using a sweet Tiddly Inks image paired with a somewhat snarky sentiment from River City Rubber Works. I’ve had the stamp for ages but it’s still available, just in case you want one for yourself!  ha, ha.

This sweet girl is  Celebrate Joyfully – Emma digital stamp.

i-understand

After printing onto X-Press It Blending Card, I colored with Copic markers then scribbled in a bit of grass using a 0.3 black Copic Multiliner.
