Paper Smooches Flowers and Shindig Two

Hi everyone! Today I have two cards to share using new Paper Smooches July releases. All new products will be available tomorrow at 8 p.m. Pacific!

On my first card I used new Flowers Two and Frame 4 dies along with a sentiment from Scripty Sayings.

Michele Boyer - Paper Smooches

While the card itself was inspired by one I saw on Pinterest, I was also inspired by fellow Paper Smooches DT Kay Miller to add white dots to my flower die-cuts. (She’s amazing, you know.)

Michele Boyer - Paper Smooches

My second card uses new Shindig Two, Pip Squeaks stamp set, Curly Clouds and Chains dies.

Michele Boyer - Paper SmoochesThe stork and baby bundle were stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers.  The baby’s sack was paper pieced from dotted Lawn Fawn paper.

I used additional stamps from Shindig Two to provide spaces for baby shower info inside the card.

Hi everyone!  TGIF, and happy Bellarific Friday! This week’s challenge with Stamping Bella was an inspiration photo (shown below). It’s a lovely outdoor garden party, pastel colors, formal and very dainty. It reminded me of an outdoor wedding/reception.  I used Uptown Couple Brett & Brenda Get Married.

Congratulations June 26 Inspir

The image was stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and (lightly) colored with Copic markers.  After coloring, I used a clear Wink of Stella glitter pen to add subtle sparkle and shine to the bride’s dress.

Congratulations June 26 CU

Em’s post will be a bit delayed and should be up late tomorrow (Saturday). Be sure to stop by the Stamping Bella blog then to check out the dt’s spin on this inspiration photo:

Today I’ve used Pip Squeaks stamp set with new Pip Squeaks Icons dies.  I also used the bees and coordinating dies from Bee Mine and the multi-size scallop die from Waves to create the sky.

Michele Boyer - Paper SmoochesAll pieces were die-cut from X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers.

I ♥ the tiny die-cut diaper, top and bear.  Soooo cute.  🙂

Additional supplies/info: Copic markers (BG70, E31, E35, R39, Y21, YR23, W1, 0.3 Black Multi-liner), Doodle Bug happy camper 6×6. Finished size 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″.

It’s a Great Day to Have a Great Day

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card to sharing using Sip, Sip Hooray, one of the latest releases from Taylored Expressions.

Michele Boyer - Taylored Expressions

I first stamped the trio of flowers into the center of a panel of X-Press It Blending Card, masked them with a Post It note then stamped the cart and awning. All coloring was done with Copic markers.

Michele Boyer - Taylored Expressions

For a bit of added dimension, I stamped the wheel a second time, raising it on Kool Tak clear foam squares. The clear squares are a little thinner than X-Press It foam tape so they provide just a bit of lift. It’s nice to have the variation.

The whole panel, once completed, was adhered to Toffee card stock using XP 1/2″ foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by today!

sending healthy vibes

Hi everyone! Happy Monday!  It’s our first full week of no school and while I actually could sleep in an hour (or more) longer than usual, I was still up at 5 a.m. *sigh* I wonder how long this will last.

My card today uses a combination of stamps and dies by Paper SmoochesFirst Aid Kit, Backdrop Builders and new Stitched Flourishes 2 dies.

Michele Boyer - Paper Smooches

I love the First Aid Kit stamp set. Such cute images!  The new larger stitched flourish provides a quick exhaust trail. And the road strip from Backdrop Builders is the perfect base. Super quick. Super easy.  🙂

Be sure to stop by Thursday morning as the Paper Smooches design team kicks off the July Release Blog Hop at 9 a.m. EST.  That’s always exciting!

Thanks for visiting!

Happy Father’s Day

Hi everyone.  I almost forgot to post this card today.  (I’ve been a little busy…)

As soon as I saw Papertrey Ink‘s Southwest Style, I knew I must have it.  With relatives living in Arizona, what could be more perfect? I added in Keep It Simple: Father mini stamp set to create the perfect card for my father-in-law.

Michele Boyer - Papertrey Ink

Before stamping, I did a bit of watercolor smooshing to create a soft background. The border strips were stamped and I added a sprinkling of the tiniest brown pearls.

Wishing all the dads the best of days.  ♥

She’s stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers.

In-Love-500

As always, I stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers. Clear rhinestones were colored with a Copic marker as well.  (Base card stock is dark purple Bazzill something-0r-other, not black as it appears here.)
