This month Taylored Expressions introduced a new line in their dies, Door to Door. How fun to assemble and decorate!
I created a “new home” card by first die-cutting the basic door pieces using Door to Door dies. The wreath and planters were created using Door to Door Decor.
Prior to assembly, I added a bit of detail to the door pieces by lightly sponging kraft ink. Copic markers were used on the bushes and planters to add shadow and a bit of dimension. I don’t currently have many embossing folders so to create the “siding,” I evenly scored horizontal lines using a Scor-Pal and bonefolder.
Copic – R21 (hearts and string), YG95, YG97 (bushes), W00, W2 (planters)
The sentiment is from Welcome Home, stamped in kraft ink with the hearts colored over with a Copic marker.
So many possibilities!
