Hi everyone! I have a fun little project to share today featuring Taylored Expressions‘ luxurious felt and new Bloomin’ Stacklets 3 dies with Accessories.
TE’s felt is 100% wool, die-cuts beautifully and is available in 50 colors. Yes, 50! I love it! Each one comes in a 18″ x 5″ roll. I just snip off whatever size I need then reattach the band so each roll stays neat and tidy.
I die-cut the flower shape from Flamingo, the leaves from Split Pea and the flower center from Butter, Robin’s Egg and Papaya. (Robin’s Egg is my favorite. SO beautiful.)
I stitched the flower and accessories directly onto the paper so there’s no chance of anything falling off. The sentiment was stamped using new Stitch by Stitch 2.
Once assembled, I adhered the panel to the front of a 7Gypsies 5 x 7 Ring Book (that’s been in my ‘stash’ for years). I removed one long side from a Quilted Cutting Plate die-cut and attached as a “stitched” border along the left side.
Inside, I have been adhering inspirational photos of stitched and/or felt crafts for future reference. (Can you tell I like foxes and owls?)
