Keeping Track of Favorite Copic Color Combos

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a Doodle Garden digital image along with how I keep track of my favorite Copic marker combinations.

I purchased this image quite a while ago on Etsy and it appears that this particular shop is now closed. So sad, so sorry! It’s adorable!

I printed the image onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers, referencing my senseBook for skin, hair and “mermaid” color combos.

What is a senseBook? It’s a really cool, very well constructed leather notebook, available in two styles (Red Rubber or Flap) and three different sizes (4″ x 6″, 6″ x 8″ and 8″ x 11″).  Mine is a 4″ x 6″ Flap. Compare the Red Rubber vs. Flap senseBooks HERE.

The insert pages (or refills) are interchangeable and available in three styles – plain pages, ruled or squared.  All begin with a Table of Contents and all have numbered pages. They can be used for sketching, journaling, writing, anything really!

TOC

I’ve separated mine into hair and skin combos as well as my favorite greens, reds, blues, etc. Any time I see or try a new color combo I want to remember, I simply jot it into the appropriate category, adding any notes if applicable.

Hair

The refills themselves have a sturdy white cover that could easily be decorated and used without the leather cover. PERFECT for paper crafters! (Great for personalizing and gifting!) They’re also VERY reasonably priced. You can check out the refills HERE.

How do you organize your favorite Copic combos? I would love to know!

Thanks so much for visiting today!
